ViaMichelin launches X950 and X950T Navigation version 2
New integrated features offer better user benefits
ViaMichelin Navigation X-950 family version 2:
The ViaMichelin Navigation X950 and ViaMichelin Navigation X950T (with real-time
traffic information) now incorporate the following new features:
- Full UK postcode search
- Integrated safety camera information
Locate those tricky to find addresses quickly and accurately with the
comprehensive UK postcode search. For ViaMichelin customers, the introduction
of this new feature will simplify all journeys including business trips, family
holidays and short journeys.
The ViaMichelin X950 and X950T also now provide up to date information on
upcoming safety camera locations, meaning you can travel more safely than ever
before.
Additional great features of the ViaMichelin X950 and X950T version 2:
- Free regular traffic updates to avoid traffic jams (X950T only)
- Exclusive MICHELIN ® Guides content
- Thousands of interesting Points of Interest (POIs)
- Route planner information
The enhanced ViaMichelin X-950 range will also benefit from the innovative, new
90-Day Map Update Guarantee service that is now available to all ViaMichelin GPS
customers across Europe.
To benefit from this offer, which is valid for 90 days from the date of original
purchase, customers must register on the ViaMichelin website and send a copy of

their proof of purchase accompanied by a contribution to handling costs of £5.95.
A DVD providing updated mapping will then be sent to them within 30 days.
Version two of the updated ViaMichelin Navigation X-950 and X-950T are now
available in all good retail electronics stores. The recommended retail price for
the X950 is £159 for the country version (UK & Ireland) and £229 for the European
version. The recommended retail price for the X950T is £229 for the UK version
and £299 for the full European versions.

GPS navigation section (providing product and software news and updates,
