Entry requirements Application and<br />

Admission Procedure<br />

Students who have obtained a Bachelor<br />

or university diploma in Business<br />

Administration or a related subject, or<br />

provide proof that they have completed<br />

a degree at a recognised Institution of<br />

Higher Education in Austria or abroad<br />

are judged to have satisfied the academic<br />

entry requirements for the Master<br />

programme in Marketing and Sales.<br />

Minimum number of ECTS credits<br />

required: 180.<br />

PROOF OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE<br />

SKILLS<br />

All applicants who are not native<br />

speakers of English, or who have not<br />

completed a Bachelor programme with<br />

at least 50% of the courses having<br />

been taught in English, are required<br />

to include one of the following<br />

certificates with their applications:<br />

IELTS Academic Training -<br />

minimum score: 6.0<br />

Cambridge Certificate - Level C1<br />

TOEFL iBT - minimum score 90<br />

The IMC University of Applied Sciences<br />

Krems will only accept certificates<br />

obtained in the last two years.<br />

The academic board is responsible for<br />

checking compliance with the entry<br />

requirements on a case-by-case basis<br />

once the prospective student’s complete<br />

application file has been received.<br />

STEP TWO<br />

The procedure involves an admission<br />

interview which either will take place<br />

in Krems or will be held via Skype. The<br />

dates for the admission interviews will be<br />

published on the IMC Krems website.<br />

IMPORTANT HINT<br />

If you wish to apply before completing<br />

your Bachelor degree or equivalent,<br />

please submit official confirmation from<br />

your university of your target degree,<br />

the scheduled final exam date and the<br />

qualification you will obtain at the end of<br />

your degree course. You should also add<br />

your official transcripts of records for each<br />

semester to your online application.<br />

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR<br />

APPLICANTS WITH INTERNATIONAL<br />

CERTIFICATES AND DEGREES<br />

Applicants with international certificates,<br />

must have their documents translated into<br />

German or English and certified/legalised.<br />

For detailed information regarding the<br />

all international applicants to start the<br />

application for visa and residence permit<br />

as soon as possible as the processing may<br />

take up to six months.<br />
