General description
Safety module for parallel application in combina‐
tion with the OSY-ControlCenter, System Fla‐
menco. Operating as a redundant unit, the module
is directly connected to the physical group bus
(OSYnet). The system allows for the parallel oper‐
ation of one or more OSYnet-SafetyControllers.
In case of an interruption between the OSYnet and
the OSYnet-ControlCenter, the SafetyController
will automatically take over the ward control. In
safety operating mode, all basic functions of the
nurse call system will be sustained, and this in‐
cludes speech communication.
