TRAINING
Because Action Target understands that training objectives are unique and
can change from one facility to another, we offer multiple approaches to
underground training. You can now simulate everything from a sewer system,
to a subway station, to a hardened and deeply buried target complex.
The design of your training facility can be a totally buried covert pipe complete
with a manhole and an 80-pound cover, or a MATCH facility in an enclosed
building that replicates a WMD bunker. The flexible and reconfigurable nature
of MATCH lets you simulate a wide variety of threat environments.
As with any enclosed shooting facility, ventilation in an underground simulator
must be a primary concern. While the facility must realistically replicate the
threat environment, it must not present a health or safety hazard. Action
Target is one of only two companies in the United States that have been
tested and approved to meet the highest shooting range standards set by the
U.S. Navy for firearms training facilities. Action Target indoor ranges for the
Navy result in no detectable lead measured in the shooter’s respiratory zone.
