chassis, size, and shape as the StuG III series vehicles, but was armed with a lower-velocity 105mm L/28<br />
howitzer for use against infantry, light vehicles, and emplacements. Between late 1942 and early 1945, 1,211<br />
StuH 42 were built.<br />
