Return Codes<br />

The return code indicating success or failure. The following table describes the value<br />

of each return code.<br />

xmlHandle A handle to the DOM structure. [IN]<br />

xpathString A string to specify the starting point. [IN]<br />

The xpathString parameter uses the in-encoding parameter set in<br />

the system-level or account-level xmlconfig file, the XMLSE-<br />

TOPTIONS command, or the XMLSetOptions() API.<br />

nsMAP The map of namespaces which resolve the prefixes in the xpath-<br />

String. The format is:<br />

“xmlns=default_url xmlns:prefix1=prefix1_url<br />

xmlns:prefix2=prefix2_url<br />

For example:<br />

“xmlns=”http://myproject.mycompany.com<br />

xmlns:a_prefix=a.mycompany.com<br />

XML.SUCCESS Function completed successfully.<br />

XML.ERROR An error occurred.<br />

XML.INVALID.HANDLE An invalid handle was returned to the function.<br />
