Keying Plug (for Multimate<br />
Contact Cavities)<br />
Material<br />
Natural color nylon<br />
This cylindrical keying plug<br />
is used in Multimate contact<br />
cavities that accept Type II,<br />
Type III+ <strong>and</strong> Subminiature<br />
COAXICON socket contacts.<br />
The plug protrudes<br />
from the mating face of a<br />
connector <strong>and</strong> will prevent<br />
connector halves from being<br />
mated by butting against<br />
the pin contact. The mating<br />
pin contact must be removed<br />
to provide for proper<br />
mating.<br />
Keying Plugs (for Type XII<br />
Contact Cavities)<br />
Material<br />
For 207597-1—Gray nylon<br />
For 206508-1—Natural color nylon<br />
Two versions of rectangular<br />
keying plugs are available<br />
for Type XII contact cavities.<br />
A pin style is used in cavities<br />
that accept Type XII male<br />
contacts, <strong>and</strong> a plug style is<br />
used in cavities that accept<br />
Type XII female contacts.<br />
These keying plugs perform<br />
the same as the cylindrical<br />
keying plug described<br />
above. The mating contact<br />
must also be removed to<br />
provide for proper connector<br />
m a t i n g .<br />
