Comments: Surname THURMAN, originated in Norway region; drifted down <strong>into</strong> England; came<br />

to America in 1600s/1700s; settled in TN and MO. Family surnames: THURMAN, CLASBY,<br />

THOMPSON, and GRISHAM. I had a paper trail from 20 or so years ago...at least as far as<br />

England. I was surprised to find that my deep ancestry line connects me to the Saami people in<br />

Norway/Russia area as far back as 8 to 10,000 years. This would be U5b1b group.<br />
