Leaders’ Contributions<br />
<strong>The</strong> newly-formed 34th NUS Students’ Union (<strong>NUSS</strong>U) Council, <strong>to</strong>gether <strong>with</strong><br />
the Executive Committees and Council representatives of various halls, faculties<br />
and clubs in NUS, were recognised for their contributions <strong>to</strong> the University<br />
at the <strong>NUSS</strong>U Student Leaders Recognition Dinner. <strong>The</strong> event was organised by<br />
the Alumni Development & University Relations Sub-Committee. Leaders <strong>from</strong><br />
the <strong>NUSS</strong>U Council were invited <strong>to</strong> enjoy the Society’s facilities during their<br />
tenure in office.<br />

Sketching a Thousand Words<br />
A coterie of 14 members settled down in their<br />
seats <strong>to</strong> begin learning various styles of caricature<br />
<strong>from</strong> caricature maestro, Kamal Dollah,<br />
who is well-versed in serious yet exaggerated<br />
sketching. Motivated by the sheer joy of creating<br />
something funny <strong>from</strong> scratch, members<br />
left the class <strong>with</strong> pieces of their own caricature<br />
art, knowing that they can now draw <strong>to</strong><br />
unwind and share the laughter <strong>with</strong> friends<br />
and family.<br />
