Altar Servers
Being an altar server is a special honor and a great
privilege in the Catholic Church. Through this unique
ministry a young person can spread the message of
Christ through their actions and words. Being an altar
server is not difficult, but you must have received your
First Holy Communion and attend training. We need
additional youth altar servers for the Sunday 5:00pm
Holy Mass.
Please contact C.J. Costino at (248) 390-7560 or at
cjfiguresk8r@yahoo.com for more information.
Arimathean Ministry
Arimatheans are caring parishioners who wish to
support their brothers and sisters in Christ who have
experienced the loss of loved ones. This ministry reflects
the good works of St. Joseph of Arimathea. As representatives
of our faith community, they attend funerals
of dear ones. They honor the departed in a final act of
love as they travel toward their heavenly home. Please
call Kathleen Chin at 992-7937 for more information.
Homebound Ministers
Homebound Ministers have the privilege of taking the
Lord, present in the Eucharist, to our fellow parishioners
who are unable to attend Mass. Your visit will assure
them that the St. Leo Community is one in spirit
and prayer with them. The rewards are many for those
who have a small amount of time to devote to this ministry.
Please contact Jack Hollmeyer at (586) 214-7452.
Father Henry continues to
improve following his
surgery. If you would like to
leave a card or
message for him at
the Parish Office we
will be delighted to
see that he receives it.
