SITES AND
APPROPRIATE USES
The AAP has been written to address the West End as a whole instead of considering a series
of individual sites. However, a simple quick- reference guide to the identified development
sites and their appropriate uses would be helpful.
In line with Policy WE20 the City Council will require all developments on sites of 0.2 hectares
or more to comprise more than one use.
It is important to recognise that the list of sites is not exhaustive. As the renaissance of the
West End builds up momentum more sites are expected to come forward for development as
landowners and developers grasp the potential of this project.
