manufactures Ball and Roller.
• The factory stores liquid petroleum gas, which is used as fuel in furnaces through
closed pipe lines.
• The factory officials have informed that there is no possibility of any hazard either
during the storage or processing of the chemical.
• The area of influence of storage is 1600 meters area, within the plant area only.
• There have been 174 industrial and chemical accidents in Jalna district during the last
10 years. There have been 14 deaths in the industrial accidents during the last 10
years. The expenditure incurred on Relief and compensation during the last 10 years
on these episodes is Rs. 8,67,920/-.
