the untiring staff at Moles Brewery 

have produced a new beer, 

Perle 4.6% abv 

Gold in colour with our characteristic malty 

flavour, a subtle bitterness and a fine, 

pleasant fruity/floral aroma. This comes from 

the special Perle hop which is often used in 

German style beers. 

So buy it and try it, you wont regret it!!

We’re 30 years young! 

Thirty years ago Roger Catte set up Moles Brewery in Melksham on the site of the 

soft drinks company Cascade Drinks. 

Coming from a background of brewing with Ushers of Trowbridge and Watneys at 

Mortlake London, he started one of the early so called “ Micro Breweries “. 

Over these years the size and production of the Brewery has increased slowly but 

surely, producing many award winning beers, culminating in August 2011 with our 

Mole Catcher abv 5.0% being declared the Best Strong Beer in Britain at 

the annual Great British Beer Festival 

in London organised 

by CAMRA.

Tawny in colour with a fruity, sweet perfume on the 

nose. A distinctive smooth body, full of character 

with a crisp, lasting creamy head. A light dryness in 

the finish, lingering hint of toffee, warms the palate 

with light peppery overtones coming from a mix of 

Slovenian and English hops.

A wonderful aroma of caramel and roasted malt
