<strong>The</strong> annual report for the fiscal year 2064/065 of the <strong>Supreme</strong> <strong>Court</strong> mentions five courts namely<br />

Manang, Mustang, Jajarkot, Jumla and Humla that has a zero figure regarding petitions relating to<br />

execution of decisions. Likewise, courts that do not petitions exceeding one year are Dhankuta,<br />

Okhaldhunga, Udaypur, Ramechhap, Rasuwa, Parbat, Gulmi, Arghakanchi, Palpa, Rukum, Rolpa,<br />

Dailekh, Mugu, Doti, Bajura, Achham and Dadeldhura. In these districts, although the target<br />

envisaged by the Plan has been met, the conditions of District <strong>Court</strong>s having work load is different.<br />

<strong>Court</strong>s where petition regarding execution of decisions has exceeding one year are as follows:<br />

From the above table, expected improvement has not been achieved with regards to execution of<br />

decision of courts. <strong>The</strong> number of petitions is higher than 5,000. <strong>The</strong>re has been no reduction in<br />

the number of petitions that have exceeded one year. Prior to the commencement of the Plan, the<br />

disposal rate of petitions regarding execution of decisions stood at 52.68%, whereas by end of the<br />

fourth year of the Plan the average disposal rate is lesser by 1.33%.<br />

3.2.2 Supervision and Monitoring<br />

<strong>The</strong> Plan had prescribed for supervision and monitoring of the subordinate courts, quasi-judicial<br />

bodies and prisons every year and on the basis of the recommendations made a report was
