7. And as they were departing, Jesus began 24. And when the messengers of John had<br />
to say to the multitudes c<strong>on</strong>cerning John, What departed, he began to say to the multitude<br />
went you out into the wilderness to see? A reed, c<strong>on</strong>cerning John, What went you out into the<br />
which is shaken by the wind? 8. But what went wilderness to see? A reed, which is shaken by<br />
you out to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? the wind? 25. But what went you out to see? A<br />

of kings. 9. But what went you out to see? A live in magnificent attire, and in delicacies, are<br />
Prophet? Yea, I say to you, and higher than a in the courts of kings. 26. But what went you out<br />
Prophet. 10. For this is he of whom it is written, to see? A Prophet? Yea, I say to you, and more<br />
Lo, I send my messenger before thy face, who than a Prophet. 27. It is he of whom it is written,<br />
will prepare the way before thee. 11. Verily, I Lo, I send my messenger 11 before my face, who<br />
say to you, Am<strong>on</strong>g those who are born of women, will prepare the way before thee. 28. For I say to<br />
there hath not arisen a greater than John the you, Am<strong>on</strong>g those who are born of women, there<br />
Baptist: yet he who is least in the kingdom of is not a great Prophet than John the Baptist; yet<br />
heaven is greater than he. 12. And from the days he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater<br />
of John the Baptist to this day, the kingdom of than he.<br />

by force. 13. For all the Prophets and the Law 16. The Law and the Prophets (were) till<br />
itself prophesied until John. 14. And if you are John: since that time the kingdom of God is<br />
willing to receive it, preached, and all press violently into it.<br />
