2. THE GIRLS' HOME AND SCHOOL OF DOMESTIC ECONOMY.
This Institution was opened in the autumn of ISOl. The number of
foundationers is limited to (!(), one half of whom reside in the House ; the
others are hoarded out. The subjects tiiujjht are Dressmaking', Cookery
and Laundry work. Classes are arranged not only for foundationers and
Free Scholars, but also for fee-paying pupils, and the teachers for each
of the departments give instruction of the higliest class in all branches
of their respective subjects.
3. BURSARIES.
Bursaries in connection with the Grammar School and Public and Stateaided
schools in Aberdeen are awarded annually by competitive examination,
and also small Scholarshii)s for Eveiiing Classes.
Schedules of application for the benefits of the Trust may be had at the
Office, 352 King street.
