The Change Element Attributes dialog can be used to set the Transparency values for previously
placed elements.
Just like Priority, when new elements are drawn they take on the Transparency value assigned to the
level. Setting the Active Element Transparency in the Attributes tool box is not an “override”. Behind the
scenes, MicroStation uses an equation (See BE Communites for further details) to determine the “final”
transparency value of the element.
