504.7 Cross Section Staking Reports<br />

When cross section staking reports in ASCII text format are required, the following information shall be<br />

included in the ASCII reports:<br />

• Station, Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Offset for each vertex <strong>of</strong> the proposed finished<br />

grade from the left edge to the right edge <strong>of</strong> each cross section along the surface <strong>of</strong> the<br />

pavement.<br />

• All values shall be reported to three decimal places.<br />

Cross section staking reports shall be stored in the \geopak\output directory using the following file<br />

naming convention:<br />

nnnnn_XS_ChainName.txt<br />

nnnnn = Five digit PID Number<br />

ChainName = The name <strong>of</strong> the COGO chain used to extract the cross sections.<br />

Example: 12345_XS_CLPS185.txt<br />

Cross section reports for each centerline chain shall be stored in a separate ASCII file.<br />

The GEOPAK Cross Section Multi-Line report can be used to generate the required information. Take the<br />

following steps to generate the report.<br />

Select Cross Section Reports as shown below.<br />
