January 18, 2013 Left Offset/Right Offset The Left/Right Offset values are only available if the station range option is toggled on. With the Left/Right Offset values toggled on, only monument points that fall within the specified station limits and the offset limits will be included in the monument report. With the Left/Right Offset values toggled off, all monument points within the specified station limits will be included in the monument report regardless of how far they are offset from the selected Chain. Monument Features Found in GPK Only the monument types found in the currently selected Job Number are available for export to the report file. Toggle on/off the monument types that you wish to export to the report file. Report File Name Key-in the full path and the name for the report file to be generated. The Select button may also be used to select the path and key in the name for the report file to be generated. Generate Report Select this button to initiate report generation. The report is an ASCII text file in csv (comma separated values) format. A sample report, opened with Microsoft Excel, is shown below. The first line of the report file designates the content of each column in the report file. 106 ODOT CADD Engineering Standards
504.7 Cross Section Staking Reports January 18, 2013 When cross section staking reports in ASCII text format are required, the following information shall be included in the ASCII reports: • Station, Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Offset for each vertex of the proposed finished grade from the left edge to the right edge of each cross section along the surface of the pavement. • All values shall be reported to three decimal places. Cross section staking reports shall be stored in the \geopak\output directory using the following file naming convention: nnnnn_XS_ChainName.txt nnnnn = Five digit PID Number ChainName = The name of the COGO chain used to extract the cross sections. Example: 12345_XS_CLPS185.txt Cross section reports for each centerline chain shall be stored in a separate ASCII file. The GEOPAK Cross Section Multi-Line report can be used to generate the required information. Take the following steps to generate the report. Select Cross Section Reports as shown below.
