January 18, 2013 504.6 Monumentation Reports When monumentation reports in comma separated value ASCII text format are required, the following information shall be included in the ASCII reports: • COGO Point Number, Feature Code, Northing, Easting, Elevation, Chain Name (used for the station and offset reference), Station, and Offset. • The values for the Northing, Easting, Elevation, Station, and Offset shall be reported to three decimal places. Monumentation reports shall be stored in the \geopak\output directory using the following file naming convention: nnnnn_Monuments_ChainName.csv nnnnn = Five digit PID Number ChainName = The name of the COGO chain used to generate the station and offset values for the monument report. Example: 12345_Monuments_CLPS185.csv Monuments for each centerline chain shall be stored in a separate ASCII file. This application must be run from within MicroStation with GEOPAK active and the GEOPAK Working Directory set to specify the location of the .gpk file. Key-in the following command to run the application: vba load ODOT_Monument_Report.mvba;vba run ODOTMonuments 104 ODOT CADD Engineering Standards
The dialog shown below will appear. The ODOT Monument Report has the following options: January 18, 2013 Job number Select the Job Number for the GEOPAK COGO Database that contains the monument points. Chain Select the GEOPAK COGO Chain that will be used to generate the Station and Offset references contained in the completed monument report. Begin Station/End Station With the station range option toggled off, all monument points found in the selected Job Number will be included in the monument report. If a given monument point falls outside the limits of the selected Chain, the report will show values of “NA” for the Chain, Station, and Offset. With the station range option toggled on, only monument points that are found within the specified station limits will be included in the report file. ODOT CADD Engineering Standards 105
