The horizontal alignment reports shall be stored in the \geopak\output directory using the following file
naming convention:
nnnnn_Chain_Name.txt
nnnnn = Five digit PID Number
Name = The GEOPAK COGO Chain name
Example: 12345_Chain_CLPS185.txt
Each horizontal alignment report shall be stored as a separate ASCII text file.
The GEOPAK COGO command Describe Chain can be used to generate the ASCII report files
containing the required information for each chain. From the GEOPAK Coordinate Geometry dialog,
select Element > Chain > Utility to access the dialog shown below. Select the desired alignment, and
then select the Describe command to generate the alignment description.
The results of the Describe Alignment command can be saved in an ASCII text file by selecting View >
Command Output > Save Content As… as shown below.
