Free trial at local gym helps you banish the
exercise demons!
It’s not always easy to motivate yourself to exercise. Lots of people
get stuck in a rut, eating and drinking too much, working too much
and generally not looking after themselves. The result is stress,
weight gain, aches and pains. You might not be quite sure how to
break this cycle, how to eat better or what exercise you can do to
help.
But we do. We will make you feel better – in all sorts of ways. But we
don’t want you to just take our word for it – we want you to be able to
come and try it for yourself - for free. A full, free personal training
session. We’ll discuss your lifestyle, your diet and your goals (perhaps
you want to lose weight, run further, walk up the stairs without losing
your breath or recover from an injury). We’ll work out the right
exercise routines for you, and show you how to do them.
If you feel better then we can talk more about how we can help you in
long term. There are several options. If you don’t like it, just walk away.
No cost to you, no harm done. No risk. If you’re a bit unsure, feel free to
bring a friend along or we can arrange a session when the gym is quiet.
Whatever suits you.
We understand the hardest thing to do is make that first step – but we
can help. Cotswolds Health and Fitness Club – Change Your Life.
Bourton-based Windrush Fitness brings the “Piloxing Party” to the Cotswolds
Yes, you read that word right... PILOXING! PILOXING uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful
sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout “guaranteed to whip you into
shape”. Using the most current science, PILOXING incorporates formats such as interval and barefoot training to burn maximum
calories and increase stamina.
The brainchild of Swedish dancer and celebrity trainer Viceca Jensen, PILOXING has a devoted Hollywood following, including
Hilary Duff, Heather Morris, Melissa McCarthy, Kirsten Dunst and Vanessa Hudgens to name just a few. In 2010 Viveca founded
the PILOXING academy which has so far trained over 2000 instructors worldwide, including Windrush Fitness, Lucy Davis.
Lucy told us: “I discovered PILOXING in a newspaper article about the latest Hollywood fitness crazes. I love boxing and I teach
Callanetics, which has a lot in similar with PIlates, and was curious about how the combination would work together - so I ordered
one of Viveca’s DVDs. I have never had so much fun doing a high energy workout in my life...and never sweated so much either! I
immediately contacted the Academy about becoming a trainer.”
New to the summer timetable, Windrush Fitness recently held open taster classes at their studio in Bourton-on-the-Water to
show their current clientele what it was all about. “Love it, love it, love it!” and “that was so much fun!” are just a couple of the
student comments after just 1 class. With 4 classes a week on the timetable there are times to suit everyone so why not come
and join the “PILOXING party!”.
