Focus on the environment
Originally the goal was to develop wood chippers which could produce
chips for heating as a replacement for fossil fuels. Later it turned out
that the increased conscience concerning recycling of nature’s own
products also made chips a popular product in the green sector for
covering and compost as well as for layering on paths and walking
areas.

The TP series - Garden, Park and Forest
Linddana manufactures three series of wood chippers. The series are
divided into Garden, Park and Forest. The primary difference between
the series is the size of the material that needs to be cut. The material
can vary from small branches to whole trees with a trunk size of 40 cm.
The wood chippers are either mounted to a trailer with its own engine
or for mounting to a tractor.
The Garden series
It is perfect for use in small gardens where there is not much space. A
very effective small wood chipper which is easy to manoeuvre around
and which can handle the wood refuse that is typical when thinning out
gardens and parks. The typical users are houseowners’ associations,
rental companies, housing associations and cemeteries. The chips
from the Garden series are very popular as use for ground cover.
The Park series
The build of the wood chippers in the park series makes them perfect
for cutting green refuse from privet hedges to large branches and entire
trees. One of the major advantages of the park series is a very uniform
chip quality. This makes the series very suitable for production of chips
for use in small chip furnaces and stokers where there are often large
demands for the chip size - as well as for ground cover on beds or as
composting.

The forest series
The forest series is constructed for wood chipping of trees with as large
a capacity and as uniform a chip quality as possible. The chips from the
forest series are used for combustion in large and medium sized heating
systems, as laying on beds as well as on paths and walking areas.
The wood chippers are available in several models depending on if they
are needed for row felling or driving along wheel tracks where the wood
is lying perpendicularly on the track.
The wood series has machines with an integrated hitch for a trailer so
the chips can be ’blown’ directly into the trailer. This has been crucial
for optimal wood chipping where fast cleaning and laying of the chips
on i.e. paths and as ground cover is necessary. The largest machines
in the forest series can or should be operated with a crane as the diameters
of the trees can be up to 40 cm.

The Garden series
The chips from the garden series can vary in size from 5 to 50 mm
depending on the type of tree being cut. The end result is nice and
varied chips for laying as ground cover on beds or for laying on
paths and walking areas.
The Park series
The perpendicular cutting angle on the wood chippers in the
park series results in very uniform and short fibered chips whose
length can be varied by adjusting the speed on the feed rollers.
The chip quality depends on the material being cut, but generally
the chips can be used for even small chip furnaces and stokers
without problems. If there is a need for high chip quality, the number
of cutters can be reduced by fitting sliver breakers in the wood
chipper. The chips from the Park series are also perfect for jobs
where optimal and fast composting of green refuse is required.

The forest series
The angled cutting angle on the wood chippers in the Forest series
results in larger chips. The knives can be adjusted for different
chip sizes and sliver breakers ensure a uniform chip quality. Sliver
breakers are standard on the TP 230 and TP 270.
The benefit of adjusting the knives for different chip sizes is that
you can produce the correct chips in the desired quality for different
uses. The uses can be burning in different sizes of heating
systems, as ground covering or for laying on paths and walking
areas.

Wood chips today
Chips are a natural material with a lot of good qualities.
Wood chips for cover is a standard product which can be bought
by private consumers in basically all garden centres. By using wood
chips for cover you avoid the use of sprays since a layer of 10 - 15 cm
makes it almost impossible for the weeds to grow through. This ability
has made wood chips a very popular product both for cities and private
consumers.
Wood chips for heating is a professional industry. In forestry, wood
chipping is the most common method for disposing of wood and
branch refuse which has thus become a positive economical factor.
Many private house owners have installed chip furnaces or stokers
and wood chips are a common commodity both for heating and cover.
Chips are used in large quantities for energy, industrial purposes like
paper and chipboard production as well as bottom cover and covering
for paths with a low traffic pressure.
Chipping is a fast, simple and environmentally friendly way of disposing
branch refuse.
TP 100
The TP 100 is a drum chipper with a vertical funnel. A small, compact
and effective wood chipper for chipping branches up to 100 mm in diameter.
Feeding and cutting the material is achieved by the combination
of the vertical chipper and the knives’ position on the drum in relation
to the anvil. Power requirement from 15 to 40 hp.
TP 100 is available for tractor. A small wood chipper with large capacity
and very handy in tight places.

TP 130NEW
Characteristic of this new machine is that the price has been optimised
without compromising quality and safety. TP 130 has a newly developed
hydraulically powered retraction cylinder with shark-like teeth for
extra aggressive retraction when the wood is led through the hopper
and directly into the knives. The machine is simple in construction, but
has the functions that are needed to chip at convincing capacity. The
chips that are produced are 8 mm long.
In terms of safety the machine complies with the current legislation
in DK and the EU. The wood chipper is equipped with an operation bar
for controlling the retraction cylinder. With the operation bar it is possible
for the operator to start and stop as well as reverse the retraction
cylinder.

TP 160
Elegant and efficient wood chipper with hydraulic in feed for chipping
of branches of up to 160 mm in diameter. The integrated hydraulic
system and the 2 horizontal feed rollers ensure strong and problem-free
feeding.
TP 160 is a disc chipper where the wood is chipped at an angle of 90
degrees. The heart of the machine is the two knives and two anvils. The
chipping is done with great efficiency – and a nice, uniform chip quality.
The new design, increased capacity and improved service makes the TP
160 an attractive wood chipper and shows that even a small machine can
be used for professional use.

The TP 200 is the best selling TP model. Functionality and flexibility have
been crucial factors for many buyers. The TP 200 is a disc chipper with
hydraulic feed, three knives and three anvils. Simple, flexible and effective
for wood chipping of branches and entire trees up to 200 mm in diameter.
The wood is carried by two hydraulically powered feed rollers and cut at

If you want large capacity, flexibility and a uniform chip quality from your
wood chipper then TP 250 is the answer. TP 250 is a disc chipper with
hydraulic feed. It is effective for cleaning up and chipping branches with
a width of up to 250 mm in diameter. The large rotor disc with three knives
combined with three anvils, a 90 degree cutting angle and two horizontal
feed rollers ensure a very effective chipping of everything from

A strong wood chipper – with trailer coupling - for chipping wood of
up to 230 mm in diameter. A disc chipper with hydraulic feed and the
funnel 90 degrees to the side. The vertical feed rollers and the cutting
angle of 45 degrees ensure an aggressive and problem free chipping
of even the most crooked trunks. TP 230 is the obvious wood chipper
when you want to collect the chips in a trailer.
At the same time, the perpendicular chipper gives great advantages
when the material to be chipped is placed alongside a road. Required
power from 50 to 120 hp.
TP GREENLINE
An integrated solution consisting of wood chipper and high tip dumper
where the wood chipper is mounted on the hitch of the dumper.
TP WINCH

angle. A forceful and effective wood chipper for chipping wood of up to
270 mm in diameter. The vertical feed rollers and the cutting angle of 45
degrees gives a large capacity and aggressive feeding of even entire trees.
TP 270 is available with either manual operation or operation with crane.
Required power from 100 to 200 hp.
TP 270 with manual operation is also equipped with a rotating 3-point
suspension so the wood chipper can be turned (hydraulically) behind the
tractor into the transport position.
TP 270 is also available in a reversed edition (F) so it can be mounted
at the front.
TP 270 is an obvious choice if you want large capacity and if coupling to
a trailer is required.

TP 280
TP 280 is a strong and compact wood chipper that is optimal for professional
forestry. The wood chipper is mounted on the tractor’s 3-point linkage
and a high tip trailer is mounted at the front of the tractor. The long ejector
spout ”blows” the chips over the tractor and directly into the trailer. Required
power from 135 to 200 hp.
To get the full benefit from the TP 280 it is necessary to have a tractor
where the seat can be turned 180 degrees. With the chipper parallel to the
direction of movement the TP 280 is the perfect solution for row felling or
for clear-cutting.
The professional touch to TP 280 is obvious both in the list of standard
equipment, the high capacity of approximately 50 m3 per hour and the
good chip quality. If you want an especially fine chip quality, for example for
use in small stokers, the wood chipper can be equipped with sliver breakers
in order to optimize the quality of the chips.
TP 280 is delivered with Stress Control System type TP PILOT K, where the
user can operate the wood chipper’s feeding system and at the same time
monitor the rpm on the rotor and the feed rollers.

TP 400 is the optimum wood chipper for production of chips in commercial
forestry. It has an integrated crane support and funnel parallel
with the driving direction. The wood chipper can either be mounted
on the tractor’s 3-point linkage or attached directly to selected tractor
models. TP 400 is for fast and efficient chipping of wood up to 400 mm
in diameter. Power need from 200-400 hp.
The high professional level of TP 400 is seen both in the list of standard
equipment, the very high capacity of up to 100 m3 an hour and the
good chip quality. If you want an improved chip quality e.g. for use in
small stoker installations the wood chipper can be equipped with sliver
breakers which will make the chips even more uniform.
The service is also important on TP 400 where the screens can easily
be removed just as the split rotor housing can be opened with a hydraulic
pump so there is easy and fast access to the knives
TP 400 is delivered with its own stress control system TP PILOT K where
the operator can operate the wood chipper’s feeding system and at the
same time monitor the rotation of the rotor, the feed rollers and current
temperature of the hydraulic oil.
