How to arrange the finishing shapes for the elbow. K-FLEX IC CLAD - ELBOWS Finishing of elbows with IC CLAD SR / BK sheet A) After having prepared an insulated elbow, pre-cut or completely prepared by the fitter, and having insulated the adjacent tubes, apply the finishing to the insulated tubes leaving an abbundance of 5 cm (A1-A2) to allow for the superimposition of the elbow finishing. B) Apply the sections of shaped IC CLAD SR (silver colour) or BK (black colour) sheet on the elbow. For the type of shape see the example on the following page. For the joints of the shapes, overlap the abundances prepared in advance “against water”, for this reason the mounting sequence of the shaped parts is carried out starting from the lowest part (see numbering 1-2-3-4,referring to an elbow finishing in 4 sections).
