Preparation of the consecutive tube II
A)
Cut from a K-FLEX IC CLAD sheet the section corresponding to the circumference of the piping to insulate , including
an abundance of 5 cm for the overlap of the longitudinal joint.
Leave another abundance of 5 cm on the side of the joint with the tube already laid.

Remove a strip of 5 cm from the elastomeric layer
where the abundance is, leaving the IC CLAD sheet intact.
For the operation, make a clean cut in the elastomer and remove
the remaining material with a scraper.

The illustration shows the operation to obtain the
overlap necessary for the joints.
• As a makeshift solution, without doubt less effective, cut a sheet section without leaving an abundance
and simply cover the joints with IC CLAD tape, following the specific appliance rules.
