Insulation with K-<strong>FLEX</strong> elastomeric sheet or tube<br />

A)<br />

Cut from a K-<strong>FLEX</strong> insulating sheet a section corresponding to the dimensions<br />

of the piping to insulate and glue the joining edges with K 420 adhesive.<br />

Take the measurements of the circumference wrapping around the piping<br />

a strip of elastomeric insulation of the thickness that you are using.<br />

Place the sheet on the piping and close the longitudinal joints. Press the glued edges carefully together in order to<br />

obtain an even joint, without stretch marks.<br />

Laying of K-<strong>FLEX</strong> elastomeric<br />

insulation tube<br />

• Lay the insulation tube after having<br />

cut it lengthwise.<br />

• Close the tube again fixing the edges<br />

of the cut with K 420 adhesive.<br />

The laying procedure is the same as that illustrated<br />

for the K-<strong>FLEX</strong> sheet.<br />
