For night trail running, a headlamp suitable for illuminating the terrain is essential. Essential for greater speed and less fatigue.
• For short training sessions and less technical trails, at sunrise or sunset, a headlamp with declining lighting will work well,
even though light quantity will decrease over time.
• On the other hand, for technical trails and for runs of many hours, or even an entire night, a headlamp with constant
lighting is perfectly suited. Light output remains identical to that at the start, even after many hours. Essential when fatigue
sets in.
CORE
With the rechargeable CORE battery, you can transform
a headlamp from the TIKKA 2 - ZIPKA 2 line from
providing declining lighting to constant lighting. The CORE
rechargeable battery is ultra-light, replaces standard
batteries and can be recharged hundreds of times. With
the help of the OS by Petzl software (free for download at
www.petzl.com/OS), you can configure your CORE to your
needs: declining or constant lighting, customized burn time
and lighting output, etc.
