Oxcarbazapine • Newer drug, closely related to Carbamazapine, approved for monotherapy, or add-on therapy in partial seizures • May also augment K+ channels* • Some #induction <strong>of</strong> P450 but much less than that seen with Carbamazapine • Sedating but otherwise less toxic than Carbamazapine
