The isl<strong>and</strong> of Iki is divided into two districts; its capital is Katu-moto ;-ita<br />

The isl<strong>and</strong> of Tsu-sima, between Corea <strong>and</strong> <strong>Japan</strong>, is also divided into two<br />

districts ; <strong>the</strong> capital is Futsiu ; its productions are ginseng, lead, grind-<br />

stones <strong>and</strong> frying-pans.<br />

The empire is governed by eight administrations or boards ; namely, Tsiu<br />

jo-no-sio, <strong>the</strong> general central board ; Sik-boo-no-sio , <strong>the</strong> board of legislation<br />

<strong>and</strong> of public instruction ; Dzi-boo-no-sio, <strong>the</strong> general board for <strong>the</strong><br />

interior ;<br />

Min-boo-no-sib, <strong>the</strong> board for <strong>the</strong> affairs of <strong>the</strong> people, or general<br />

police ; Fio-boo-no-sio, <strong>the</strong> general board of war ; Ghio-boo-no-sio, <strong>the</strong><br />

board of criminal affairs ; Oo-koora-sio, <strong>the</strong> treasury board ; Koo-ndi-no<br />

sio, <strong>the</strong> ministry of <strong>the</strong> imperial dwelling.<br />
