Comments: First described in the Black Sea, the native region of Caprella danilevskii is unknown. It has been found on<br />

a wide range of biotic substrates, including Sargassum. It has also been found on muddy substrates as deep as 2120 m in<br />

the Gulf of Mexico, perhaps due to sediment transport and turbidity currents (Winfield et al., 2006).<br />
