Comments: Most authors report the introduced Mytilopsis in Asia and Indo-Pacific as the Atlantic and Caribbean M.
sallei. However, Wangkulangkul and Lheknim (2008) consider the species introduced in the NWP to be M. adamsi,
originally described from the Pacific side of Panama. In either case, this mussel would be nonindigenous in the NWP.
