Comments: Bougainvillia muscus is native to the Atlantic and considered introduced in the Pacific (Carlton and<br />

Eldredge, 2009) and Mills et al. (2007) considers it “probably introduced in bays and harbors" in the NEP. B ramosa (=<br />

B. muscus) has been reported from wharfs in the Northwestern Sea of Japan (Chaplygina, 2006).<br />
