Comments: Asparagopsis taxiformis consists of several "lineages" with three of them occurring in Hawaii (Sherwood,<br />

2008). While recognizing this complexity, we follow Carlton and Eldredge (2009) and Olenis and Didžiulis (2009) and<br />

classify it as NIS in Hawaii and Europe, respectively, and unclassified elsewhere.<br />
