Comments: Though the distribution of Didemnum candidum is confounded by the likely presence of several species,<br />

Carlton and Eldredge (2009) state that it is "possibly of Eastern North Atlantic origin" and it is not in the list of<br />

European invaders (Olenin and Didžiulis, 2009). We classify it as NIS in the Pacific based on an Atlantic origin.<br />
