Comments: The distribution of Megabalanus tintinnabulum is confused by many of its subspecies being elevated to<br />

species. We tentatively classify it as introduced in Japan (Mito and Uesugi, 2004) and cryptogenic in Australia<br />

(NIMPIS) and the Atlantic (Carlton et al., 2011); other authors consider it introduced in Europe, Brazil, and Australia.<br />
