Comments: Megabalanus coccopoma is native to the Tropical Eastern Pacific, and has invaded Japan, the Atlantic, and<br />

Indo-Pacific. This tropical barnacle showed up off of San Diego, California after the 1982-1983 El Nino but did not<br />

become established (Newman and McConnaughey, 1987), and we assume it is not established in the Gulf of California.<br />
