Comments: The origin of the oyster parasite, Bonamia ostreae, appears to be a hatchery in central California. Shipments<br />

of Ostera edulis spread the parasite to Puget Sound, the eastern United States, and France. We classify Puget Sound as<br />

invaded, though it is possible that this parasite was naturally present in low abundances throughout the NEP.<br />
