Progress: g One survey y had been undertaken from 03-09 January 2011 at Pakke Tiger Reserve. Malayan Giant Squirrel Ratufa bicolor (Sparrman, 1778) was the most abundant species p followed by y the Hoary-bellied y Himalayan Squirrel Callosciurus pygerythrus (I. Geoffroy Saint-Hillaire, 1831). Pellets of Indian Hare Lepus p nigricollis g Cuvier, , 1823 were also collected from the Seijosa river banks and a few pellets of the same species were also collected from the forest roads within the Reserve.
