of 1,500-1,600 people. Its central edifice is known as the Phalanstery.<br />

Pherecydes of Syros. Greek philosopher of the sixth century B.C. AutllOr of a genealogy<br />

Phidias. Fifth-century B.C. Athenian sculptor who executed the greatest of his city's<br />
