1. Course title<br />

Qualified first aid.<br />

2. Course contents<br />

Lecture and Classes<br />

Safe use of oxygen under various conditions. Techniques of administration of oxygen. Interview emergency. Effect of<br />

the accuracy of testing the effectiveness of the provision of qualified first aid. The prel<strong>im</strong>inary survey by the vict<strong>im</strong>,<br />

detailed scrutiny. The vict<strong>im</strong> unconscious. Resuscitation of adult, child, baby, baby in special situations. Terms injured<br />

by semi-automatic defibrillation and automatic. Shock. Emergency procedures in selected states of emergencies:<br />

seizures, diabetes, myocardial infarction, stroke, poisoning, flooding. Traumas and injuries, fractures, dislocations,<br />

sprains, bleeding, chest injuries, abdominal, spine, head and l<strong>im</strong>bs<br />

3. Learning outcomes<br />

The Student has the knowledge and skills in first aid at the advanced level in all states of life-threatening internal and<br />

environmental origin. Student has a sense of responsibility for the quality of aid, as well as appropriate ethical attitude<br />

in the emergency action taken. Learning life-saving operations, according to its standards in line with the guidelines of<br />

the European Resuscitation Council. The student can use in practice with the equipment in the emergency equipment<br />

kits, properly deal with medical waste and contaminated equipment, rescue, assess the basic vital signs and assessment<br />

of such injuries, emergency interview, the prel<strong>im</strong>inary examination and detailed use of basic equipment to carry out<br />

artificial ventilation / oro-pharyngeal tube, suction device, reservoir oxygen mask.<br />
