Course title Choice of Lectures – Normative models of leadership 2. Course contents Determinants of model intakes of political leadership. Leader- philosopher. Teleological model of leadership. Christian type of leadership. Between Byzantium with autocracy and contemporary model of leadership in Russia. West European conceptions of absolutism. Polish conception of political leadership in XVI century. Polish conceptions of political leadership in XVII and XVIII centuries. Leader rebel – anarchic conception of leadership. Leader in Marxism. Lenin – Bolshevik type of leadership. Charismatic model of authority by M. Weber. German conceptions of “prominent individual”. Leadership in fascism.
