Course title Political System of the Republic of Poland – stationary studies 2. Course contents Lecture and classes Competences and political position of the president of the Republic of Poland. Transformation of local authority in political system of the Republic of Poland. Judicial power in political system of the Republic of Poland. Interests groups in political system of the Republic of Poland. Legal and political position of the unit in the system. Denominations unions and the role of Catholic church in political system of the Republic of Poland. Legitimization of political system of the Republic of Poland. Transformation tendencies of political system of the Republic of Poland. 3. Prerequisites None 4. Learning outcomes Graduate acquires knowledge from the scope of course, effects and perspectives of social and political transformation as well as democratic consolidation in Polish conditions. He or she is familiar with the state of contemporary knowledge from the scope of essence, structure and mechanisms of political system functioning in the Republic of Poland. 5.
