The Witelon University of Applied Sciences in Legnica – Field: Nursing Field: Nursing The graduate of three-year first-level course of the Nursing receives the professional title of licencjat (the equivalent of Bachelor's degree). The graduate possesses the general knowledge from the range of medical sciences and the detailed knowledge from the range of the nursing and is prepared to the independent fulfilling of the nursing occupation, like that: ensuring of high-level standards of given health services performing of the general and individualized care over the ill, invalid, and dying patient communicating with the patient, its family and the therapeutic team and using the professional language diagnosing the needs of the individuals, groups or the communities and the qualification of requisite activities to their satisfaction, planning and realizing of the nursing-care, with the regarding of the process of care, the theory of care and standards of the care performing of nursing and medical health services cooperation with the therapeutic team for the insurance the high standards of care of the man healthy and ill abiding by ethical rules and developing of the sensibility and the empathy attitude to the man charged to the care establishing the cooperation in integrated health care management and performing the requisite activities in order of maintenance and the restitution of the patients health supporting and teaching of the individuals, the families and the social groups in range of healthy lifestyle and the restitution of the health initiating and participating in educational campaigns in the interest of the health independent performing of the nurse occupation in integrated public and non-public health care management practical using of the current knowledge from the range of medical and social sciences, theories of the nursing, law regulations of the occupation and the health service and its improvement by the self-education using the foreign language on level of the proficiency B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe executing of investigative projects and introducing of their results to the professional practice undertaking the second-level studies.
