2. Course contents<br />

Lecture<br />

Term “modern conception of education”. Dynamic, type of changes in education and thinking about it. Ontology<br />

of the present from a perspective of education. Classical culture as a contexts modern ideas and educational<br />

practice looking at the tradition. Partitions, oppositions in modern culture as a context of modern education. The<br />

basic issue of conception of conservative progress education. Characteristic of conception of conservative<br />

progress education by A. Nalaskowski, in the context of assumption educational alternative, in referring to<br />

various social and political ideology. Liberal, progressive conception and technology of education. Practicing as<br />

a teleology and realizations base of pragmatistic education. Technology of pragmatistic education – procedures,<br />

active method of education, psychotechniques, sociotechniques and the consequences of it. Alternative of<br />

radical, critical concepts of education. Ch. Lindenberg’s concept (of the base of R. Steinner’s idea). A. S. Neill’s<br />

concepts of liberalistic upbringing.<br />

4. Learning outcomes<br />

The students are familiar with basic issue various and representative conceptions appear at modern thinking,<br />

st<strong>im</strong>ulating present upbringing and didactic practice.<br />

They are able to understand modern conception and technology of education, take into consideration their<br />

diversity of philosophical, axiological presumptions, civilization and culture context and current pedagogical<br />

trends.<br />
