Clinical psychology<br />

2.Course contents<br />

Lecture<br />

The major subjective of the lecture is to present various theoretical approaches on normal development cycle,<br />

psychic health, norm and what are deviations from the development al norms and what is psychopathology.<br />

Certain number of lecturers will be devoted to stress and various critical situations. In addition, psychosocial<br />

determinants of treatment and psychic equilibrium will be discussed. Within the Framework of the cycle, some<br />

selected issues of personality problems and development al psychology will be presented.<br />

Moreover, the student will be familiarize with some methods of diagnosis of principal psychic diseases (DSM,<br />

ICD) disturbing social, family and professional functioning of persons with psychotic and neurotic units (e. g.<br />

basic psychic disorders, neuroses, personality, behavior, emotional and mood disorders),and many more.<br />

Also, some psychology therapeutical techniques, based on various theoretical approaches will be introduced.<br />

And, some selected problems of juvenile cerebral palsy, with their theoretical theses, diagnostics, therapy and<br />

rehabilitation of children, young adults and adults with CNS illnesses. In this case, an <strong>im</strong>portant significance<br />

may be related with the Conductive Education, which planned and differentiated educational, physical therapy,<br />

logaoedics, neurological, artistic, and psychological factors will be discussed.<br />

Some subjects of clinical psychology:<br />

Behavior dysfunctions, DSM and ICD, sexual disturbances, phobias, schizophrenias, addictions, suicides,<br />

bul<strong>im</strong>ia and anorexia, personality disorders, mental handicap, stress, depression, psychotherapy, and more.<br />

4.Learning outcomes<br />

Students acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge od clinical psychology.<br />

The assessment of student’s labor is based on written exper<strong>im</strong>ental or theoretical study on some selected<br />

problems of clinical psychology.<br />
