1. Course title<br />

Physical and chemical hazards in the workplace<br />

2. Course contents<br />

Physical and chemical factors characteristics which adversely affect the human body. The general rules in work safety and<br />

hygiene in relating to the harmful agents, tests and measurements. The ability to identify of physical and chemical hazards.<br />

Development of a selected group of agents to the detailed evaluation of their <strong>im</strong>pact and countermeasures in the form of the<br />

work semester.<br />

4. Learning outcomes<br />

Students know the most <strong>im</strong>portant physical and chemical factors, are able to identify them in the work environment and<br />

determine the nature of the hazard posed by these factors. Know how to interpret the emerging threats and evaluate risks<br />

associated with it.<br />
