Physical and chemical hazards in the workplace
2. Course contents
Physical and chemical factors characteristics which adversely affect the human body. The general rules in work safety and
hygiene in relating to the harmful agents, tests and measurements. The ability to identify of physical and chemical hazards.
Development of a selected group of agents to the detailed evaluation of their impact and countermeasures in the form of the
work semester.

4. Learning outcomes
Students know the most important physical and chemical factors, are able to identify them in the work environment and
determine the nature of the hazard posed by these factors. Know how to interpret the emerging threats and evaluate risks
associated with it.
