Second-degree studies
The graduates of the second-degree interdisciplinary studies in the field Management and Production
Engineering receive Master's degree. They combine in a creative way - mainly through the synthesis -
the engineering preparation in the broad sense of production engineering and operation of machines
and devices, with the preparation in the domain of organization and management. This includes
the management of technical functions such as: designing of machines and devices and their systems;
designing of systems of manufacturing of machines and mechanical and electrical equipment, their
operation and decommissioning; designing of management systems and the selection, evaluation
and training of personnel; cost management and evaluation of the performance of the company
and controlling; project management in the area of consulting and advisory business, marketing,
logistics, capital management and investment management.
The graduates are prepared for:
1. Creative, innovative activity in the area of production engineering and operation of machines
and devices.
2. Making and implementing of creative initiatives and decisions and carrying out production or service
activity in the area of machine industry in small, medium and large enterprises.
3. Building teams of innovative activity in the area of production engineering and operation
of machines and devices and management of these teams in the field of economic activities and in the
sphere of state administration and local government.
4. Determining the needs, orientations and content of research and development and for organizing and
conducting of such research and development, in particular for designing and implementation
of technological innovations, product innovations and organizational innovations.
5. Technical and organizational consultancy in the field of engineering of machines and devices,
in particular in the area of the directives and requirements of the European Union and in the area
of acquiring funds from programs of the European Union.
6. Continuation of education and development in the third-degree (doctoral) studies and research
activities related to production engineering issues in the field of construction and operation of machines
and devices and their automation
