The Witelon University of Applied Sciences in Legnica - Field: Management and production engineering ECTS credits 2 1. Course title: Diploma seminar: Technical progress in the production and technology 2. Course contents: Thematic scope of seminar: Optimization of chosen individual operation and processes, which occur in technological processes of production. Technical and technological progress in production of chosen products. Quality analyze and evaluation of chosen products. Quality management systems. Product designing. Technological designing of industrial plants. Package management. Waste management. Water-sewage management. Energy management. Semester 7: A student is required to write the thesis himself with the help of the promoter, focusing on the subject chosen in the previous semester. Practicing the ability of the proper master work construction. Reaching the ability of proper (corresponding with current rules) presentation either in the written form or multimedia one, own thoughts, reasoning and conclusions. Prerequisites: None. 3. Learning outcomes: Practicing and reaching by students the ability of shaping the researches problem and hypothesis involved with it. Strengthening the knowledge in the field of specialization and the researches subject. Reaching the ability of knowledge selection connected with the researches subject and its analysis. The main goal of seminar is elaborate of final dissertation, getting the skills of analyzing the foreign and own text and presentation an essay in form of compact complex approach to chosen issue. 4.
