1. Course title:<br />

Diploma seminar: Technical progress in the production and technology<br />

2. Course contents:<br />

Thematic scope of seminar: Opt<strong>im</strong>ization of chosen individual operation and processes, which occur in technological<br />

processes of production. Technical and technological progress in production of chosen products. Quality analyze and<br />

evaluation of chosen products. Quality management systems. Product designing. Technological designing of industrial<br />

plants. Package management. Waste management. Water-sewage management. Energy management.<br />

Semester 6: Student should be able to prove his/her logistical abilities and competence gained so far and should know<br />

how to analyze source materials. Choice of logistical methodology to be used in the thesis. Elaboration of source<br />

materials. Presentation of the subject and of the main ideas of the thesis.<br />

None.<br />

4. Learning outcomes:<br />

Practicing and reaching by students the ability of shaping the researches problem and hypothesis involved with it.<br />

Strengthening the knowledge in the field of specialization and the researches subject. Reaching the ability of knowledge<br />

selection connected with the researches subject and its analysis. The main goal of seminar is elaborate of final<br />

dissertation, getting the skills of analyzing the foreign and own text and presentation an essay in form of compact<br />

complex approach to chosen issue.<br />
