Programming methods, control systems, position control servo-mechanism<br />

Control system’s tasks, hierarchy of control systems, examples.<br />

Flexible automation, flexible manufacturing and flexible assembly systems.<br />

Computer aided manufacturing, CAD/CAM.<br />

Computer integrated manufacturing, CIM model<br />

4. Learning outcomes<br />

The a<strong>im</strong> of this course is familiarized the students with the notions and ideas who cover elementary problems and tasks<br />

of automatic control engineering and robotics. Students get to know construction and the uses of robots, the device of<br />

the automation of industrial processes. Basic competences possess in the range of CAD, CAD / CAM, CIM, FMS and<br />

FAS systems.<br />
