Course contents Lecture Present logistics: definitions, levels of development. Logistics and some modern conceptions of management. Activities of logistic service in enterprises. Structure of enterprise logistic system; materials and information stream flow. Classification of logistics system. Environment of enterprise logistic system. Definitions and kinds of logistic processes. Coordination of logistic processes. Logistic subsystems. Strategic aspects of logistics. Logistic strategies. Eurologistics. Logistics of japanese firms. Eurologistics an euroregion. Keiretsu structure. Kaizen as a management conception. “Japanese” methods of flows control. Wrapping in logistic system. Information system used in logistics. Classes Imperting the practical knowledge about logistic organization of all sphere of logistic activities and acquiring practice of diagnosis and improvement of logistic activities in present enterprises. There are solving problems – case study. 3. Prerequisites None 4. Learning outcomes Students can define logistic system and logistic subsystems in enterprises. They can project wrapping. Logistics processes in global supply chain: international environment of logistics processes, infrastructure of logistics processes, activities in international supply chains, materials logistics in global market, distribution logistics in global market. Strategic activities in supply chain: TBM, Benchmarking, Lean, Agile, Postponement strategy, SCOR. Integration of suppliers: goals, 3C theory, co-markership, VMI, supplier development positioning matrix. Logistic customer service: definitions, elements, DCP, ABC, remunerativeness matrix. Strategies in supply chain: QR, ECR, DRP system. Culture condition in global logistics. Logistics services. Transportation in international goods exchange. 3. Classes Imperting the practical knowledge about logistics organization of supply chain and acquiring practice of diagnosis and improvement of logistic activities in supply chain.
